The 33-year-old was earning over €20 million per year at Liverpool, a figure well beyond Juventus’ current salary structure. For comparison, Dusan Vlahovic is the club’s top earner on around €12 million, and even that is considered a figure the Bianconeri are hoping to reduce moving forward. There is also strong competition for Salah’s signature. Clubs in Saudi Arabia remain firmly interested and are expected to return with lucrative offers, while other European sides and MLS outfits will no doubt be monitoring the situation closely.Juventus’ interest in Alisson and Robertson further highlights their intent to target experienced Liverpool players as part of their rebuild.Fabrizio Romano has already reported that Liverpool have communicated to the Brazilian ‘keeper that they want him to remain at the club next season.
