SportFootballLiverpool FCLiverpool have retained fourth place in the latest rich list of clubs after a 15% increase in valuation following the 2024/25 seasonLiverpool have retained fourth place in the list of the most valuable football clubs in the world - but still trail bitter North West rivals Manchester United.Forbes has released their latest set of annual valuations for 2026 with the Reds calculated as being worth $6.2billion (£4.6bn).It represents an increase of 15% on the previous year and is more than four times the valuation of just a decade ago under owners Fenway Sports Group.The calculations are based on official club accounts for the 2024/25 season when Arne Slot led Liverpool to a record-equalling 20th championship while also reaching the League Cup final and the Champions League round of 16.The Reds are one place behind United in the rankings, who are now valued at £5.3bn after an increase of 9%. United's growth, though, has only doubled in the last 10 years.It comes after Liverpool were forced to reappraise their planned decision to increase ticket prices over the next three seasons following protests by supporters.There are four other Premier League clubs in the top 10, with Manchester City (£4.1bn), Arsenal (£4bn), Chelsea (£3.1bn) and Tottenham Hotspur (£2.2bn) taking up the last four slots.Liverpool's Merseyside neighbours Everton are ranked 25th in the list with a valuation of £688m, one of 11 English clubs in the top 30.



Intriguingly, the league with the next highest representation is Major League Soccer in the United States, with seven clubs.For the fifth year in a row, Real Madrid lead the way with a valuation of £8.2bn, with Barcelona second (£6.5bn), Paris Saint-German fifth (£5bn) and Bayern Munich sixth (£4.9bn).Real Madrid posted a sporting revenue record of £940m in 2024/25, which beat the £910m brought in by NFL franchise the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.
