New Liverpool Signing Returns from Injury

Liverpool FC's new signing Mor Talla Ndiaye has returned to training after a minor issue flagged during his medical. The 18-year-old defender joined from Senegalese club Amitie, having featured at the FIFA U17 World Cup and represented Senegal at U18 level. He is one of two defensive recruits alongside Noah Adekoya from Burnley.[1]

Under-21 coach Rob Page provided an update following Liverpool U21s' 4-3 Premier League 2 victory over West Bromwich Albion. Goals from Trey Nyoni, Rio Ngumoha, and Kieran Morrison secured the win. Page confirmed: “Mor is on the grass. We had to shut him down for the first few weeks... Nothing too significant to worry about, but just something that we had to manage. Thankfully, now he’s back on the grass, and I beat him in head tennis last week.” Ndiaye has yet to join the U21s squad.[1]

This positive news comes amid Liverpool's injury challenges. The first team kept FA Cup hopes alive with a 3-0 win over Brighton at Anfield, thanks to goals from Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai, and a Mohamed Salah penalty. Next up: Wolverhampton Wanderers in the fifth round and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on February 22.[1]

Several players remain sidelined.
