Liverpool’s search for a new starting right winger looks likely to end without a conclusion, after suggestions that Bradley Barcola will be the final arrival of the window.The Reds have been actively trying to sign a new right-sided forward, and have even launched bids for both Yankuba Minteh and Ismaila Sarr in recent days.Crystal Palace are now asking for £75m to let Sarr go, though, while Brighton want even more to sell Minteh, who is currently injured. There will be other players who emerge throughout the season, as Yan Diomande did during 2025/26, and announce themselves as possibilities for Liverpool as well.So, though right now this feels like a mistake from the Reds, perhaps in a year’s time fans will look back on their decision not to sign an underwhelming right winger and hold out for the real McCoy as a very good call.
