Liverpool are in talks with Feyenoord over the possibility of appointing Arne Slot as their new head coach, and the Dutchman already has Premier League admirers.

The Feyenoord boss is said to also be fielding interest from Bayern Munich, with Thomas Tuchel to depart this summer.

Liverpool are not the first members of the Premier League to have been impressed by Slot's work in the Netherlands either.

Across north London lies a figure who may know him better than most in the Premier League however.

Reiss Nelson played under Slot 31 times at Feyenoord and was impressed in his time at the club.

"Holland was great for me," the winger said of his loan spell in 2021/22.
