Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp gave his fourth-to-last pre-match press conference for the club on Friday, ahead of the Reds’ trip to face West Ham United in the first game of the Premier League weekend.
He was inevitably asked his opinion of potential successor Arne Slot, but Liverpool’s immediate future lies at the London Stadium.
While the title race now appears to exclude them, the Reds need to bounce back from a thoroughly disappointing Merseyside derby defeat.
“I cannot remember being as frustrated after a game as I was on Wednesday,” Klopp said today (via Liverpool Echo).
Klopp gave an update on Conor Bradley, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota when completing his pre-match media duties.

The Dutch forward is the likeliest to return.
"Everything is fine with the new-born, all is well, he is back in training,” Klopp said when asked if the former PSV Eindhoven man would be available for the match in east London as he looks set to provide a welcome boost.
According to Klopp: “Diogo and Conor not ready, nobody told me they will start training soon."
This is disappointing news for the players, the manager, Liverpool and the fans.
