Liverpool have already beaten West Ham 3-1 in the Premier League and 5-1 in the League Cup so far this season.
In this decisive area, we don't play positive football – I blame myself absolutely for that.
“I don't know how it happened but I am responsible for the mood the team is in.”

Under Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool have only won more Premier League games against Crystal Palace (13) than they have against West Ham (12).
West Ham have lost 12 of their last 14 Premier League games against Liverpool, with both exceptions in this run coming at home (1-1 in February 2019, 3-2 in November 2021).
Arne Slot will be named as the new Reds boss after they reached an agreement with Feyenoord, talkSPORT understands.
The club had made the Dutchman their top target to replace Klopp, who will depart at the end of the season.
Liverpool and Feyenoord have reached an agreement that will see Slot become the new manager at Anfield, along with members of his backroom staff.
The two clubs have agreed a compensation package worth in excess of £9.4million (€11m) that will see Slot replace Klopp, with the coach desperate to move to Anfield.

Both West Ham and Liverpool are coming to the end of an era.
Klopp will be leaving Anfield at the end of the campaign and things are not going as planned as his side have crumbled in the Premier League title race.
Meanwhile, it also seems that David Moyes’ tenure as Hammers boss is set to come to a close with fans unhappy with the club’s performances.
Moyes is yet to sign a new contract and he, as well as the board, understand that the fractured relationship between the support and manager will impact his future.
Both managers have been in charge of their respective clubs for many years and they have experienced success, however, it seems their times are up.
They will meet in the dugout one more time today before Klopp is likely to be replaced by Arne Slot and Moyes’ position is possibly taken by Julen Lopetegui.

Jarrod Bowen has missed West Ham’s last two league games and was only able to play in Europe after having an injection.
He may be fit enough to feature while Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos are both aiming to return to the squad.
As for Liverpool, Diogo Jota remains out injured after picking up a knock against Fulham.
Cody Gakpo missed the Merseyside derby due to his wife being close to giving birth but he should be back available for this one.
Thiago and Joel Matip are the two main absentees, however, Klopp could rotate his side with this being their third game in a week.
