Earlier this year, seven-year-old Roman's family asked for the city's help as his mum fought for her life in intensive care.Mum Tasha Farah, 31, suffered a devastating injury and was taken to hospital in April. The ECHO previously shared a GoFundMe appeal set up to raise money for her care as the mum-of-one, from the Old Colwyn area of North Wales, faced an "uncertain road of recovery and rehabilitation".Two months on, Tasha is still in a critical condition in hospital, her mum Denise Farah, 52, said.

She added: "She's a fighter with an amazing spirit and we all believe in her so very much." The family are taking Tasha's recovery "minute by minute, hour by hour".Speaking to the ECHO in April, Denise said: "We're in a living hell. In fact, when Tasha took Roman to Anfield for the first time he told her it was the "best day of his life", Denise said.In April, the family said they would have loved to get Roman to Anfield again and hoped the power of the media could help make that dream come true.

Our family is by her side, holding onto hope and praying for her recovery."She is facing a long, uncertain road of recovery and rehabilitation, and will need intensive care, therapy, and support to regain even the simplest parts of her life."Tasha is not just a sister - she is a mum to her beautiful eight-year-old son, Roman. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Tasha’s fight to recover and giving her the best possible chance to rebuild her life—and to be there for her son again."Please keep Tasha in your thoughts and prayers.
