Andy Robertson is set for an early reunion with Liverpool. Robertson ended a nine-year association with Anfield this summer in which he won eight major honours including two Premier League titles and the Champions League.

The Scotland international made 378 appearances for the Reds during that time and was installed as vice-captain in his final season. But Robertson will return to Merseyside next month after Tottenham were drawn against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup’s third round.
